Out west, oh where the fire pits glow
there is a man who wanders aimlessly
he randomly treks to find the best way of life
He?s cross-eyed and painless now
no restrictions for which to hold him down
but the Talking?s not there and the Heads are no where to be found

and since he was a loner, well a solo project was the best idea
but being alone in the desert puts a damper on your career

He walks into the desert night
drinks from a dry mirage
spits grit out of his mouth
and soon the taste is gone

This man, he is a hired gun
looking for companionship in anything
but where do you go when all the people you know can?t be found?

he tips his hat and then he winks at me
but I can tell, as the buzzards can tell he?ll soon be dead
